@reasontaipei im 16, and i completely agree with you, more kids my age should be interested, but there not, anyways before i die i would want to go up there, if only for a few minutes, and see the sky without lights only allowing me to see a few stars.

I like the 'Hubble just takes pictures' comment I guess I'd be a little blase about deep space spectrum analysis imagery when I have the possible discovery of antimatter with the AMS tee'd up. For all of the folks that want to be an astronaut - count me in, too. Just an fyi - I could be wrong on this so don't quote me - but I think you have to be able to fly a jet ( not talking JetBlue either) before you get to try your hand at the shuttle.

"Mission May Unlock New Mysteries" - and NASA will no doubt cover them up!

@liamg2001 Good to see kids devoted to finding the truth in the universe these days!

May I coin a new term?
rocket jocks.
That's what these guys are. I mean it in an affectionate, not an insulting way.
SHAME... Such a cool video only got some 100+ views... Kids nowadays would rather watch justin bieber or lady gaga instead of something that the fate of our race relies on... What happened to the golden era when every boy was dying to be an astronaut?! I think NASA should launch a huge campaign to reignite kids' passion for space, where our future lies!

@reasontaipei I'm 15, I'd rather watch a video on the NASA channel than the VEVO channel, I'd love to be an astronaut, will never happen though ! :-)
