Investing in politics is big business in America. For many corporations, investing a few million dollars, in the form of lobbying, goes a long way when it comes to rigging the rules. Laws and regulations have been twisted to help these companies maximize profits and at the cost of tax payers' funds. RT investigates the problematic practices.

  • What's the Big Deal? Like President Obama said: ' A lot of that "STUFF" was not illegal, it was "JUST", IMMORAL '. No biggie.

  • @ThePeterKrpan How can I ? not living in the US nor I am American.

  • This's a lot of...hubub, for a simple minded man like me to take in and make sense out of. I'm the only one in my state (VT) who watches the clips regularly. But I gotta say, I can't wait to see what kind of aftermath OWS will produce in the months to come. I'd like to predict the protests will grow much like RT says it will, and then get out of hand and turn into riots due to ragged protesters, which in turn will turn America into a huge warzone...( i just think that'd be cool)

  • Maybe this will elighten some Teabaggers! OR NOT!

  • You guys are messed up

  • Why do so many feel the need to resort to name calling to try and get their point across? We're all entitled to our opinions, which means it's highly improbable that we're all going to agree, but some things just make no sense if you want people to take what you have to say seriously. Also, I think Michael Moore is awesome, but that doesn't mean I forfeit my right to say I think it's wrong to make money off of this, and not help out. Maybe he is, but I can't be everywhere and/or know everything.

  • @777Carmine777

    he is pretty fat

  • @azis1100 right on - if mm REALLY wanted to influence people in the right direction, he'd address the federal reserve

  • So then it's ok for the big corporations to have the laws changed so that what used to be ILLEGAL is now LEGAL even if it's IMMORAL, I thought IMMORAL and ILLEGAL went hand in hand. That is if something is IMMORAL it's usually ILLEGAL as well no?

Hmmm... I will have to go check out the definition of IMMORAL in the dictionary maybe they have changed that as well.

  • @azis1100. Guy's a hypocrite.

  • independence for puerto rico! colonialism is a crime against humanity!

  • 17 billion in bonuses @ goldman sachs? is that all? lol

  • @MyDormantSoul you can go either way when it comes to totalitarian state, but sure they act like it, most experts say they are more or less , but like you said still have some power which is good.

  • @unreal672003 America is fascist but it inst yet totalitarian, never forget that we STILL have some power in our rapidly changing democratic republic

  • Sure, now he mentions Bankers.

  • Michael Moore is the biggest crony in the Occupy Movement. Dam shame.
