Yale SOM 2006 International Day Korean Club Skit

This KBS, SBS, MBC award winning drama is set in an atmosphere where all-night study sessions, high IQ scores and pressure to succeed are all abundant, Yale. The drama is about a Korean foreign student (Jee-min) from a small korean town of Suwon, South Korea, who has been admitted into the Yale SOM program and must leave her lover (Se-cheon) behind in Korea to attend the school. Se-cheon who has been left behind is distraught and decides to abandon his dreams of owning his own PC bang, and instead goes to America to be reunited with his one true love. However, once Jee-min arrives at Yale, a fellow classmate and future heir to the Shin-ramen corporation (Han), falls for the innocent Jee-min despite having a possesive girlfriend already.

Friendships are lost, relationships are strained, catfights are abundant in this heart wrenching love story. With a surprise ending, this drama is one for the ages.


This drama is first of its kind to be shot on location at Yale University. With a record budget that required two media companies (SBS and MBC) to fund this drama, no expenses were spared as witnessed by the climatic Starcraft showdown scene between Han and Se-cheon which was choreographed by the Starcraft master himself, Pado Lee. This is Korean music's premier inki gayo star, Se-cheon Jang's, first starring role. Made by the same producers of the enormously successful Ivy Elite instructional video series which include the best selling, "How to win a nobel prize in science" by Dr. Woo Suk Hwang, "How to succeed at Yale" by Shin Jeong Ah, and "How to get into an elite school" by Azia Kim. One can watch this drama knowing that it was produced by the most credible and world renowned producers Korea has to offer.
