  • at least i'm not the only guy doing this stuff ! ;)

  • LOL 16 bags of cough drops!! That's obscene. But hilarious. :) I hope you donated them to a shelter or something lol, especially since they were free!

  • Oh, and I don't know if it's new or not, but the register will automatically reject some coupons once you reach a limit. It's usually manufacturer's coups(including Register Rewards). And when an MC requires multiple items, it counts them all as one item.

  • I work for Walgreens, and we don't keep the flyer coupons, so you can reuse them for as long as they're good. You don't even need to bring them- we'll scan them from a flyer at the register.

But seriously, 16 bags of something you only use half of per year, that will most likely spoil before you finish them all? That's beyond selfish, and a waste. That totally screws over the actual sick person that depends on that product. Not to mention wasting the time of the customers behind you.

  • Check for expiry dates. Good idea, maybe give your excess stuff to friends.

  • Good idea, but did you consider the fact that cough drops - like candy get soft after about a year?? They will probably work, but after 16years or what did you say? 32 years - those babies are going to be pretty icky and sticky!

  • so the store let you break the limit 3 part. or what? i don't understand how you got 16 bags for 93 cents.
