  • Which of the widows are you speaking for? Certainly lady Selena did not do this alone, and indeed she is the first to say as much. Many, many people were part of this fight -many large groups including Circle, The Aquarian Tabernacle, and the Correllian Tradition, many individuals including widows and family members. It was an fight that lasted for more than ten years. However Lady Selena did become very much the public face of the fight and did huge amounts of grass roots organizing.

  • All-so were any of the widows even asked if they would be willing to risk the exposure to help shed light on this issue?

Its great that Selena was nice enough to bring out and, about the Pagan Media Circus which gave further exposure to this issue. however, the kind of exposure that this matter really required is the kind that should not be so easy to make into a joke.

  • Headstones for Pagan veterans is not a joke -I am sorry if you think it is. The pentacle campaign was a long, hard fight that involved many people all of whom deserve respect, regardless of whatever personal feelings you may have about Selena. I have met many of the widows and family members involved in this and for you to claim that you are speaking for them when you are really grinding a personal axe is shameful. This was and is a very emotional, very important issue for them.

  • The widows and family members involved in the pentacle campaign not only lost their loved one, but also endured prejudice and in many cases years of legal fighting. At least one of the widows I met did not herself live to see the successful end of the battle. Everyone who involved themselves in the pentacle campaign worked hard and long to bring it to a successful conclusion. I am profoundly shocked and saddened that anyone would disrepect their efforts so.

  • As one of the plaintiffs in this case, there we two of us willing to go on the front lines with this case. If it wasn't for the media stepping in, this case probably wouldn't have been settled. One of the court cases that was filed by another entity didn't want the media exposure and was happy hiding in the dark corners, but there were those of us willing to step forth and speak the truth of the discrimination that all pagan veterans were experiencing.

  • Thank you very much for speaking.

  • REv. Don, you deserve this decoration.

I don't agree with the wars done by the USA against democracy in the world. USA don't have "Gott Mitt Uns". But I think pagans should be respected although they are soldiers.

If I were in the red army I would have had a red star pentagram on my grave!

  • @multifacetedmage I think she was pretty clear throughout the interview that she respects people's desire for privacy. I expect, given the emphasis, that she took any necessary measures to ensure their permission was obtained and their privacy was appropriately respected.

  • @tylert1137 I think that would be Norse.

  • merry meet to u. im a 36yr old female witch, who STILL in these days has to hide my religous belief, due to harassment by neighborhood kids&their parents, due to them vandalizing my apt. building,to stealing windchimes i put out on a fir tree outside my balcon! my friends&i have to 'hide' our wiccan beliefs! my point here is; we love what Selena is doing(we have for years, and yearly contribute to her CS.),we want all to realize how lucky u r,to not have to hide-BLESSED BE!!!!!

  • Point 1.Why did selena fox need to put her public face on this fight at all since it was really the fight of those widows whose dead husbands were getting screwed over because of their religious beliefs and, clearly not selena's?

Point 2. could selena fox have not rendedered the same effect without putting her public face on this matter and, instead put the faces of any of the widows who would have been willing to take the public exposure?
