  • So what was Mr Scotts job when he was a soldier seeing how thats used to be a soldier as a reference in his introduction cause he could have been a cook or a photo tech that doesnt nessecarily mean he has experience dealing with hostile situations.

  • @Fallen1983 Please do your research. He's a soldier's soldier. He's seen more 'action' than all the chicken-hawk politicians in Canada. And he knows more about Afghanistan than most commentators who claim to have a clue. Google his name and read his books to find out his experience.

  • 19:00 - It's not just that the Turks are Muslim and have cultural ties with our people. While that is an important fact, it is also because the Turks are NOT engaging in combat, instead they are engaged in real HELP for the Afghan people and our people have seen the results and appreciate and trust our Turkish sisters and brothers.

  • @Fatima74 That's a very good point Fatima - and it's really helpful to know that those who honestly come to help and assist can make a difference. The disregard for civilians by foreign forces has clearly undermined any and all efforts by genuinely committed folks from all countries to help and assist with peace and development.

  • @Fallen1983 They all get the same combat training. Im one of those ex-soldiers as well. Looks to me like your comment is a veiled rib shot.

  • 2:30 Wow, general Rasheed Dostum has quite the military resume. I wonder if Mr. Donald Rumsfeld asked Mr. Rasheed if his references would be contacted.

@ 4:55 My jaw dropped! Never have I been so thankful my parents brought me here to Canada and my sister being born on Canadian soil.

    Great presentation (Like +1).

  • Very insightful and on point presentation on the current complex political situation in Afghanistan, MUST WATCH!!
