Eu bought the fishing rights in Somali waters many years ago from currupt Somali politicians, the warlords, and now the prosperous european mafia, who is said to be behind the piracy industry, is able to provide Somali pirates with weapons. The previous fishermen, now pirates out of necessity, also fight against dumping companies as Ashair partners and Progresso, who dump toxic and nuclear waste into the waters around Somali and have been done so for many years, stay away from the beaches...

They still do it, four pirates were transferred to Kenya only two weeks ago.

"Yesterday on 29 September, four suspected pirates were handed over to Kenyan authorities by SPS Galicia.

EU NAVFOR has welcomed the decision of the Kenya authorities to prosecute these four suspected pirates, interdicted by the EU NAVFOR Spanish warship SPS GALICIA, after boarding the dhow on 24 September."
