Twenty days on foot over 180 miles of the Nepalese Himalaya across a 17,769 foot pass. PART THREE: Thorung La pass. The first hour hurt the most on this unforgiving trek over 17,769 foot Thorung La pass.

  • Lovely video. We are planning to do this in the coming October. We plan to go from Besisahar to Jomsom and fly back to Pokhara. What do you suggest? Should we do the whole thing? How would you describe the part from Jomsom to Pokhara? Would appreciate a quick response - as we have to plan for it soon. Thanks!

  • @kadekodi1 I think that's a great plan and that is 100% what I would do if I were doing it all over again.

That part of the trek was really lovely, with amazing villages and scenery. Thorung La pass is challenging, awful at times, and totally amazing. Coming down from the pass is euphoria. Jomson is really cool. But, honestly, after that, I was over it. The villages between Jomson and Pokhara were more developed and less interesting. And the walk was brutal - steps galore. Painful anticlimax.

  • @Vagabonding Thanks a lot for the quick response. I will share it with our team :-)

What month did you do it in?

  • @kadekodi1 April. Great time of year to go. Either that or Fall.

  • This is real image of Nepal . visit once is not enough , i did more than 20 times , still i love to do this trek.

  • @kadekodi1 @kadekodi1 this is amir....from nepal While doing Annapurna circuit it's always better to start from beshishar/ bhulbule and should have the rest day in manang ...it helps you to acclimatize with the altitude and surroundings ...It's better to take a flight from jomsom to pokhara rather taking a trail coz it's nothing in between jomsom to beni yes there is few places u can visit(kalapani, ghasa, marpha). for the detail itinerary my email add is : amirsuijan@gmail.com
