The final minutes of battle of the Remagen Bridge Reenactment as seen from the hill overlooking the German position. I wish I had gotten a tripod to allow for a steadier shot, but at least there weren't as many heads in the way, since I stood on a large pile of dirt. All-in-all the event looked to be a huge success to me. Everyone was very impressed with the reenactors, equipment and effects. I look forward to seeing this again next year.

  • i've been in the hobby for about 7 years and I gotta say this was the best public battle i've ever been in. Unfortunately I had a weapon malfunction just before moving up the hill, but a great event from a reenactor standpoint. Glad you liked it!

  • @StaffukinSGT You guys put on one helluva show this year. Last year was great, but this year was even better. I try to get as many people to come as I can and they were all blown away.

  • awww dude ya missed me i was the german who was crawling for his life at the end and they offed me twice haha

  • @biohazard099 I'll have to look at my other clips and see if I have it, because I made another shorter clip at the very end. I'll try and post it soon.

  • I'll be there this year!

  • I've been wanting so bad the get an SS Flaksturm uniform with the different camp parkas, jackboots and M-38field gear, trausers and tunice. twik wool and cotton ones with the black forrest green pattern for the SS. Gun idk what i could get a hold off as fare as athentic.

  • what really sells the reenactment is that they have a bridge.

  • @The506thParatrooper Yeah, it's usually the guys that run like hell and try to take "If this were real" into effect are the first guys down. I do have to say, it looks REALLY good when you have a dead soldier who doesn't move around. That's what I try to do.

  • Wait till this year a whole new ball game my friends. Packets are going fast we will be sold out very soon for Remagen. LOL walking around, I know a event where guys get suntans.

  • @muscleman492 haha, nice chairborne ranger parapoorpers. No i mean those guys just climb over the fence like there's nothing going on. I would run as hell, jump over it, throw myself on the ground and take cover, but probably i would already play dead. As this was real, the whole airborne would be dead lying on the ground.

  • @The506thParatrooper walks around? it looks to me as their running, walking around is for chairborne ranger parapoopers

  • 4:37 till 4:53 is so stupid! US just walks around for fun

  • and then of course you get a guy with an MP40 that cant get the thing to fire worth a crap. we had an SS reenactor that purchased a blank only MP40 that was supposed to fire full auto. you get 2-3rds off and it locks up. very nice event though. i missed it this year due to work, but i wont miss it next year!!!

  • @NEdrumMajor1 I was across the bridge, and when I was slam firing my '97 it came off the rail and jammed up. Got it fixed later, but had to disassemble the thing.
