One of the issue Islam creates for itself is that it endorses the JEWISH Prophets of the Torah and Bible, but is shocked to find out what these Prophets ACTUALLY REVEALED.

One such scripture is Psalms 2:7, in which Prophet David reveals the Son of God. The standard Mohammedan response to this is to claim Psalm 2:7 refers to DAVID himself (as if simply by denying the true meaning, that the Son of God, Jesus Christ, is not the subject of the revelation, SOMEHOW mitigates the problem this creates for Islam).

But it does not. When Mohammedans ARGUE that Psalms 2:7 speaks of DAVID, they just create an alternate dilemma for their dogma. Because then Psalm 2:7 declares that DAVID is the Begotten Son of God.

  • "Today I have begotten thee" is about Jesus's ressurection, read Acts chapter 13 more carefully...

he has fulfilled for us, their children, by raising up Jesus. As it is written in the second Psalm: "'You are my Son; today I have become your Father.' (Acts 13:33)

  • @OtherguyLR I understand your confusion, brother. You think Jesus WAS NOT the Son of God UNTIL He was raised from the dead. And so you read this verse with those glasses on. But Jesus was the Begotten Son of God from the Womb of the Virgin.

Romans 1:4 clarifies the matter for you. Jesus was DECLARED TO BE ( or PROVEN to be) the Begotten Son of God BY HIS RESURRECTION. UNTIL the Resurrection from the Dead (AFTER the CRUCIFIXION and DEATH), Jesus had not been PROVEN as the Son of God.

  • @Texas75023 Not really brother. Christ is first-born for two things. He was first-born from the creation(col 1:15) because of him being literally first from the creation(rev 3:14) or/and because of his human dispensation as first "beloved son" upon his baptism, as he was only human who was called so. And also he was first-born from the dead(col 1:18), because he was the new Adam, the first(Lazarus still died) dead person who rose for eternal life. So he was first(numerically) in everything.

  • @OtherguyLR Jesus IS called the First-Born from the from the dead. But I have never thought the event of Resurrection was the day God spoke of in Psalms 2:7 (This DAY have I begotten thee). And yet, I can understand that interpretation. And yet Jesus said 'Unless a man be BORN AGAIN' he cannot see the kingdom. Must be born of WATER and the SPIRIT. Again, I never applied this verse to JESUS, meaning JESUS had to be 'Born-Again' at some point.

  • Unfortunately Jews and Christians have corrupted these scriptures throughout the years to fit personal interpritations..I mean why would people worship "gods son"? Why not just worship the Creator alone? Christianity = polytheism

  • @Zacharyah06 My friend, you should CAREFULLY consider the implication of your accusation. When you claim Jews and Christians CAN change the Word of Allah, You claim THEY are STRONGER than you Allah and He is IMPOTENT to stop them. You claim YOUR ALLAH is feeble, brother. WEAK and incapable.

THINK carefully about the LIE you have been told that JEWS and CHRISTIANS are more POWERFUL than the allah of ISLAM. And a FALSEHOOD is exactly what your claim is, my friend. You believe a lie.

  • In this world there is no value for the things that comes free of cost. Let's take you have 2 cars one you bought another somebody gifted it. It is obvious that one will take care of purchased one and won't bothered about the one came free. The same way God has already given salvation through Jesus, but many are not bothered to receive it as they fell it is free and how come almighty can give it just like that.instead why don't they think how much God loves us, that he gave his son for us.

  • @Huhhh23 the source is the FACT that David is a PROPHET, and that David is a MONOTHEISTIC JEW, my friend. The source is the struggle that all Mohammedans must face if they are to ever TRULY submit to God and accept the SON of God who God has revealed by His Prophets.

EVEN the PROPHETS had a struggle with this message, my friend. Therefore David specifically wrote 'I WILL declare the DECREE'. Read his message and consider the implications, my friend.

  • @Texas75023 Yes true, I realise this is from Psalms 2 though the second part of the movie you start with "You can almost hear the argument within David as God's Word came to him". There is nothing about this is Psalms 2, so I was wondering if you could tell what the source of this part is...

  • @Huhhh23 greetings in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

This video teaching is derived from Psalms 2, my friend. If I say that my teaching is revealed by the Spirit of God will you then respect God and honor this teaching? Or if I say I received it from an Angel named Jibreel, would that make it more authoritative in your eyes?

Almighty God has already led me to the straight path, my friend, so I must assist you in the Truth as God desires.
