I'm 13 weeks & I can't wait 4 my 2nd ultrasound... When I got my 1st 1 I was 11 weeks & the baby looks sooo tiny omg to cute lol

I can't believe you were able to find out it was a girl that soon! My aunt is an er nurse and when people come in who have miscarried even at 16 weeks, she said sometimes looking at the baby itself outside in the world you can't even tell what it is. That's amazing.

was the gender determined at this 13week scan? I am now 15 weeks and had a 3D/4D scan at 13 weeks and was told it was a girl... but very rude people keep telling me it's too early to tell. I don't think an ultrasound technician would tell me it's a girl if they didn't know. Anyway, was just wondering if you were told this early too?

:( I only had original US here unless you go thru state/governmental pregnancycare then you get 3D/4D or unless you pay a private US clinic to do it.
But you still dont get to record it anywhere here:/ My 13 weeks ultrasound went so quickly and she wouldnt let me see the baby at one angle for long at all:/

Hello yes we were told that we were having a little girl at this stage... she is now 2 and a half. It is early to determine the gender but possible I guess depending on the experience of the doctor and the way that the baby is laying. All the best with your pregnancy.

I think the image 2:45 is amazing! So where did you go that they could delete obstructive tissue to get a better view. I will be going to a perinatologist Friday but I was wondering if this was done at one of those pay-for-specifically-for a-keepsake-ultrasound type places.

Hi thanks for your comments we had this done in the Princesse Grace Hospital in Monaco, it was one of the regular ultrasound visits. We are lucky that they have such fabulous equipment and specialists there. I hope that your pregnancy is continuing well. Best wishes

I wish they would let us take a camcorder into our 13 week scan in a fortnight but they wont.. thanks for sharing
