  • Sure: Amantadine, Provigil, Prozac, Baclofen, Trileptal, Depakote, Aricept and Azathioprene

  • Did you know that there is a trial going on right now on prozac for people with ms to help reduce Legions or plaques in the brain. Histamine and LDN also seem to help in the same way.

  • I didn't know that, but Tysabri has reduced plaque on my MRI's.

  • I am very happy for you, and hope that this medication will be able to be the one for all MS patients, and others who need it. Is it expensive? Does insurance pay for it?

  • Expensive? Oh man, yes...$40k a year. Medicare covers most of it, but my deductible is still 1k a month. However, NORD (National Organization for Rare Diseases) pays for my insurance costs. NORD is a private charity out of Connecticut. As a result, my out of pocket costs are minimal.
