What does "ridiculous" mean? In Britain it's when someone does something so pointless and unfruitful that it's often offensive or an embarrassment to society. I think that you (Mr Buzan) are so honest that you appeal to the masses. People find speculations and musing too deep and "ridiculous" and overthought. Maybe they are, but it's still relevant and always has been. All the best writers and thinkers have had the same thoughts as you, as do I and millions worldwide. I tip my hat to you, sir!

you definately come across in a normal, natural way, like your not pretending to be something, or acting up for the camera. that way you will probably come out with stuff that is more true to your original thoughts and not compromised by feeling self conscious, wandering what people will think of what your about to say before saying it...

I agree. You're not ridiculous, you're intersting.. And yes, you should just do things without caring cuz sometimes it's just something you HAVE to do. Without thinking or anything.
