Staff Sgt. Jason Rogers came home Thursday, April 14 2011, his body borne upon a sea of waving American flags and hands held tightly in salute for the Brandon, MS Marine killed in Afghanistan earlier this month.
The following video is MHP Trooper Elmo Townsend's view as his dash cam recorded the escort from Airport Road and along U.S. 80, as hundreds of onlookers gathered to pay their respects.
NOTE: Trooper Townsend is NOT driving fast! The video is sped up some to fit the length of the music - the original footage covers about 14 minutes - I thought it was more important to see all of the supporters rather than to see it in real time.

@Beavnorg I understand your sentiments, and I agree that we have lost a lot of good American men and women, & a lot of men, women and children civilians to a trumped up war. But I also believe that this is the wrong place to express that sentiment in this particular tone. If you want to spread your message, writing an editorial, a blog, writing a senator-those are better uses of time.

I remeber this day... I told my boss that i was not coming in cause i had to support a fall brother in arms... even tho i am in the Army and he IS a marine that means nothing to me... once we hit the battle field the branch means nothing... we are all in it together and no matter what branch you are in your my brothers and sisters in arms! And anyone who dont like this video can leave this country.
