@360deeman It's basically when you experience a traumatizing experience, my uncle was in an Army division during World War 2 and he had a platoon of about 100 guys, and every single man died in that platoon except for him, and my other uncle was in the Vietnam War and saw mass murders, and he also got PTSD. It is mostly seen in veterans returning home from combat, you don't see people getting their limbs blown off and people getting murdered everyday, when you see stuff like that, you get PTSD.

PTSD, trauma, the type of trauma that causes the onset of Panic Attacks, is usually down to (especially in war vets) exposure to highly intensive stressful situations that the mind can't cope with (think about) at the time. so then they're left with a hard copy of the immediate situation deeply rooted in their memory banks that they're actually unable remember because the mind locks out bad memories. They're unable to think about the memories and move on (heal)
