From the airport in Phoenix, Glenn Campbell talks about self-learning. Most of the great achievers of history were autodidacts, but it's not for everyone.

That background noise sounds like a drummer in the background. This video needs some motivating, powerful music to accompany the message of equal properties. :)

I have been teaching my self business, SEO, online marketing! :D I would not have it any other way... well I suppose it would be nice to have a teacher or mentor, but I would want to learn from a do'er, not a person that teaches theory!

The question is, shouldn't we perhaps maybe, i don't know. CREATE OUR EDUCATION AROUND THIS IDEA.

Just create a fully interactive school environment and kids can pick what they want to learn and ask questions to actual experts, in stead of the other way around.

really beautiful words.I couldn't describe it in a better way.I am an early autodidact used to taught everything myself. The difficult thing about being an autodidact might be getting the structure into the whole thing, buying the right material and so on.There is lots of good books and websites out there.+ once you become advanced it's very difficult to find books to learn from, thats why I think it's better to take classes after having self-studied for a while 0:47- 1:25 I really like this part

Many professors (not all) and others who have quite a lot of formal education are auto didacts. Also, it makes no difference whether a person chooses to study the mole rat got example.

I like the fact that you made a video on autodidactism, but you are wrong on several points. Just because a person likes crosswords does not mean that he is not an autodidact. On the contrary, autodidacts like to challenge and exercise the mind. Whether what they teach themselves is esoteric or not makes no difference. We simply love to learn.
