A possible reason The Demon is not speaking is because it is not actually Gene. My friend was backstage before the Sarnia show and discovered that it is an impersonator because Gene was at the Honda Indy in Toronto that weekend. Or it could be his thing not to talk before going on stage...

That definitely was Gene. Melissa has interviewed him many times before and saw him before going on stage. Besides, Shannon would not be there for an impersonator!
