Chain Reaction 1980, 1986-1991 theme music

This is the theme music to the 1980 NBC and the 1986-1991 USA Cable Network versions of the game show "Chain Reaction", composed by Bob Cobert. This music is titled "Thru Train" and was originally written as background music for the 1979 NBC show "Supertrain".

Why does it sound like the batteries are running low? The pitch is lower than usual and the tempo as well.

I agree, the pitch is slightly lower, and the speed is slightly slower, however this track is exactly how it sounds on the CD "Bob Cobert A Different View".

Folks, this is what it is... This may have been on Supertrain, but it needs to be understood that this is about CHAIN @#$%&*! REACTION. This may be the original theme song, but this presentation, as I stated before, is NOT that which we saw with Bill Cullen, Geoff Edwards, or even that Blake Emmons (or whatever he called himself). Dylan Lane can't hold a candle to any of them (not even Blake what's his face), Lane's show was a farce, and that's that for that.

@PatrioticPirate you hit the nail right on the head... with the exception of one show on GSN of all their "originals" are totally WORTHLESS. With the one exception being Catch 21 IMO.
