Stop bitchin about the VA. Look at Arc Rise Fantasia, It prob has the word english VA in gaming history but afterwards you start to look over it and get immersed into the gameplay. Also, the ost is divine you just wont believe it....Who cares about the voices?

People who don't know Japanese often mistake that English dub and original Japanese is the same. Not so often do they change the meanings and insert different sentences. For what end? To be more appealing and easily acceptable to English speakers or to make it more funny. But the problem is that they sometimes go overboard and can change personality of characters.

@JackOfCopenhagen yeaah, voice and battle sucks!

Good or bad voice acting.... This game looks like another sucky jrpg - they should focus on making some cool rpgs - fixing final fantasy to the right track - breath of fire. Not this empty crap they ruined! 80% of the jrpgs was ruined when they added voices to them - this is one example...

I haven't played disgaea or atelier yet... do I need to have played them to understand the story?

Eternal Sonata sent me here.
Reaction:
First : Fun voice acting :D
Second : A little too much talking...I still like it :o
Third : Turned based battle?
Fourth : Doesn't look exciting. But it does look fun. >:3
Fifth : Yep. I want it.

If this game had fixed camera angles when your fighting i would like it much much better.

@OmegaPrismZ Me too! I love Himeko and her cowlick! I think they might have been referencing hers. But this game seems interesting, I may give it a try sometime.

@SoraXKHearts The only real reason why most people prefer japanese voice acting in these low budget jrpgs is because the english voice acting is terrible
Am I the only one who doesn't mind English voice acting?

The english voice acting is good and easier for me to understand, but there's more feel for the japanese voice actings because they do it better with the emotions, especially with anime/games kind of stuff. Some people like that more, I mean... example, some anime character like Naruto, when ya hear him for a long time talkin in japanese, then you definitly don't wanna hear the english voice. >.>' Believe it.
