Yeah sure...and jack the ripper was a decent human being that had a different perspective on whether to...u know what, i don't know where I'm going with this extended metaphor. But 'pro-life' people suck and they need to grow up and face the issues scientifically.
@Minkki82 Yeah! So true! Only reason I objected earlier is because I've noticed that many Americans have adopted an "anti-religion" attitude and seem to have just blindly accepted that mentality without thinking about it. It works both ways. Accusing the religion or the stories alone does nothing, but calling out people, and making sure they're on their toes will hopefully prevent this blind following on either side of the theism debate. Less followers, MORE THINKERS! :D

@TheOverpowered1 Ok , I sort of agree. Let me try again: It's not religion per se that's to blame, it's the mentality of believing whatever you are taught that makes good people do bad stuff. If you just think what you are told to think, (and dont think yourself) you can be pushed to all sort of crazy stuff
@melbyRick By the way, the point of law is to provide a sense of justice and security, not to reach "our human potentiality." It is not there to make us feel good about our progress. It is there to restrict our actions that affect the other humans around us. The pro-choice issue is about defending an individual living human (now), and her right to make her own decisions about her body. Forcing morality on others is useless anyway... it never works. It is egotistical and immoral.
@melbyRick Ok, you may be smart, but you are naive in your generalizations. Calling people "abortion advocates" and "pro-death" is insulting and completely misrepresents them. You act as if people WANT abortion for its own sake, when all they are doing is defending the rights of a woman over the rights of society to govern what she does with her body. End of story. What do people have to gain from abortion in general? Nothing. The point is to talk so we ALL can learn and share.
