must be a little uphill @ 4:15 - excellent quality vid--eerie feeling @ 1:44 how period correct the scene is- imagine being a hobo trackside, upwind ,sleeping one off, and suddenly being woke up by that whistle, cuz being upwind, chances are the 4449 would sneak up on you - 1st thing the hobo would ponder- did i pass out on the tracks? hope not -- suite culvert shot @ 7:40

Really glad the grand old girl could go to TrainFest. She is one of our treasures here in Portland, and I can say that the Oregon Rail Heritage Foundation is taking real good care of her. Rail travel has lost a bit of it;s glory over the years but majestic engines like 4449 keep it alive for all of us. Thanks for uploading this wonderful footage.
