@jesparza562 Agreed!!!! I though I was the only person wanting to hear these songs so badly. You know that "Never Too Far" is shelved song from the Butterfly album but was later put on the glitter sound track. That song probably would've replaced "Whenever You Call",m if it came down to it. Soon, she will be returning to Sony- I just hope and pray that some day we will see and hear ALL of the unreleased song, music videos, professionally filmed concerts that never saw the light of day...

If she gets back with sony there is a 10% chance we will get to hear what has been stored in the vaults. She doesn't own those songs so it would pretty much be up to the sony execs. i can't imagine some of the songs she has stored away especially during the Underneath the Stars era. I would give my right arm to flip through her never before released stuff.

@jesparza562 agreed. I wonder of we will ever hear those songs that never made the final cut. You know they almost didnt put One Sweet Day on the album because it was too r&b but decided to add it once they realized it sounded like Anytime You Need a Friend. They mustve had another really good song that they decided to shelve instead. She started recording the album in Nov 1994- so there are probably a total of 25 songs recorded (One of many being Slipping Away). Do you think we will hear them?

@CoreyLongmire she recorded it during Emancipation.. it is very "slipping away" esque and its her best ringtone ever. and slipping away happens to also be one of her best songs ever

sounds like "Slipping Away", perhaps it is another unreleased song from the Daydream album. But the Im a little skeptical because the Mariah in the Daydream era sung just a little better than this.
