If the EM Sharingan was stronger, why did Madara want the Rinnegan?

This comment's about 8 months old, but I don't see the harm in stating why I think Madara's stronger. I'll tell you why.

Because if Nagato were the superior shinobi, he would've been Kabuto's trump card summoning, and he's not. It's the REAL Uchiha Madara.

When you look at it I believe pein is stronger why bcz Konan proved that hes not invicible he has limits too like he cant stay in illusion forever also peins rinnengan has no limiys and he even said that his eyes are the bridge between life and death bcz he wass able to bring all those people back.

Finally, the lack of Madara's Eternal Mangekyo. It's painfully obvious he does not possess it, otherwise, he wouldn't have blatantly sacrificed the random left eye, in his fight with Konan. The final piece of evidence is the fact that Madara, in most recent chapters, is manipulating the Gedo Mazo like his own personal tool.

It's interesting to note that HE'S not being pierced by any sudden chakra rods, or emaciating defects. Likely because he's the RIGHTFUL wielder.
