China Park morning exercises

This is something that many Chinese people do early in the morning at parks all across China. It's mostly older people. It's perfectly normal for them but to me it looks pretty funny.

This makes so much sense. In China the old people are self-motivated with early-morning exercise. We do this for children, why don't the oldsters do it here?
