ole vinegar is still going, she has bn in Little Hulton for the past 7/8 years, shes the only woman i know that can empty a tap room full ov men, by dropping er pants n shouting hey u load ov C**ts look wot that F**king cat has done to my Fanny... classic is V. and up untill 2 years ago she was still dragging Mick McGuire in toe, till he passed away.R I P Mick defo peace at last x lol tho she could make a 6ft docker cry, she has n had a heart of gold ...LEGEND Vinegar tits xxx

I never met Vera although I lived in Salford through the 1970s but almost everybody I knew had a story about her - usually funny but never good. I'd say her status is legendary. Many stories my wife told me as she used to sign her on at Trafford Road Jobcentre. I find it hard to believe she doesn't have a good side. She grew up during hard times in a hard city and you had to be hard to survive. When she goes it will be the end of an era.
