How ridiculous. No one ever stopped and asked "What's the load limit of this balloon and how much does the boy weigh?" That there would have told the authorities that no one was in this balloon. And where's the basket? Looks to me that the balloon is all one piece. What a publicity/rating stunt by ALL in the media. Shame on those who believed it!
