  • What kind of mallets are you using for this solo? It sounds superb in all ways.

  • They're Encore mallets.

    NZB4 in the #1 position, and the NM4B in the other positions. The Nanae's are just a pinch brighter than the Zeltsman in th bottom. I've tried so many mallets and I always go back to Encore.

  • Amazing performance, I'm gonna play this piece on my senior recital here at Syracuse, any advice for learning it, it doesn't look extremely technically challenging some technical stuff though

  • wow excellent work man !!! the entire piece is flawless....this is my first Stout solo which im going to work on and tolerate thanks to you so i appreciate you posting this vid up...by the way the audio sounds amazing too....that must be the great playing....
