The Alfa Romeo 164 get mixed responses. Nonetheless, people always have something to say. More positive than negative. Its been called a Jetta, or Saab, Volvo. Its also been called a Maserati, or some weird Ferrari. People almost always get the year wrong. I get 85 or 2004. Its a 95 folks. Alfisti know, Its getting a bit aged but it looks great. What tells its age is that console, and thats only because it doesnt have a screen for some type of GPS etc.. It also has the original stereo unit that is a Tape Deck. Another thing is its rear wing. Its kind of square like they did in the mid 80's - on Jettaz. They dont make that Zonda Decklid spoiler that solves that issue anymore. And the wheels are small w/ fat tires. all can be upgraded to take a few years off. But overall I get ooh and aahs all the time. Its still the best thing on four wheels for the price. I call it - The Last of a Rare Breed

  • @MSGstudios- yes, that's because it's Ferraris older brother. Enzo Ferrari worked for Alfa Romeo before creating his own cars, then still, ferrari's were modified Alfa Romeos. Much like AMG is to Mercedes; or M3 is to BMW. this went for 20 years before Ferrari went completely on his own. Yet even still they both build cars from the same style house Pininfarina. Ferraris are more exotic, yet Alfa's are more prestigious. Alfas are Muhamed Ali as Ferrari's are Manny Paqiou. Today, Fiat owns Alfa R

  • its the Last of a Rare Breed in the US. Plus not built by FIAT. I do keep up with Alfa world wide. The 159 is Awesome. It has the same engine as this vehicle, with modern tech updates but, you know Im right when I say the last of a rare breed, meaning they are now making cars less like the great and all exotic, ALFA ROMEO and are now making cars like the 'regular' VW. Look at the cute Mito. Not really a Mans Man car. Its a Fiat. Also what Happened to the 166? I love that car too.

  • no, but we have the parts to upgrade for the facelift. Im getting that together now. Getting the Xenon headligts etc....

  • That's one hell of an ugly car!

  • @AlfaEricWashDC I understand what you mean.

I was in the Geneva 2011 auto show, and Alfa is preparing something.

    It´s called 4C.

  • Its not "The Last of a Rare Breed".

Alfa still makes desirable cars and now it even makes them reliable.

Check out the 159 ti, the Giulietta...

  • Damn, that Q is niiiiiccee!! :D I love the steering wheel. I used to have an 164S and I truly loved that car. So much so, that i drew an entire graphic novel based on it. Check it out below. . .
