@paulwesterdawg This video is great. I could go for remake with some Richt era highlights. Maybe after this season...

Man... all of those clips from 1980 brings back a lot of memories! I was a Redcoat that year and attended all of the games. Jacksonville, Auburn, and New Orleans were my favorite trips. Especially New Orleans! GO DAWGS!!

AWESOME!

@mcantrellroberson ...J-A-Z-Z...there, I disproved your theory. Do you seriously get that much of a kick out of putting down people like that? ...jeez.
-
where did you get the awesome recording?? cant find it...

Wow! That is so cool. I've admired his rendition of the Battle Hymn for as long as I can remember. Thanks for the info! I'll keep a lookout for a digital release, and buy it as soon as I find it.

Tom doesn't have a brother. Four sisters. I'm married to one of them.

I know my aunt (Tom's brother) has all his records. I will check and see if anyone's working on getting them out.

that was messed up, I was not done...anyway, baptized by him in 1970, and had the privledge of watching over his shoulder and sitting on his piano bench as a boy/young teen, watching him perform his magic. the only known version of Battle Hymm that I know of is on Joyful Jazz from 1969, you might be able to find it at a second hand store on vinyl until his children can get it out for his fans. Take care all!!!

To dtrainxc.....I saw a post from one of his daughters that the family is compiling the music and planning to make available digitally. That was from 2006. I must tell all those that are interested in Fr Tom....I was baptized by him in 197
When I lived in Atlanta, I was a devoted follower of Jazz Classics, and especially this intro song. Too bad you have to sit through clips of this awful team to hear the music. As if anyone at UGA can even spell 'Jazz.'

mcantrellroberson,
Two typos while telling Georgia fans how to spell. Nice work.

Westerdawg, while I do not see any typos, I do admit my grammer is potentially in-correct. Therefore, I am calling for a truce, an end to our beef if you will. While I may hate all things red and black (except nuns in a blender...am I right, people?), I do in fact love the song you are providing for all of us to hear. For that, I thank you PaulDawg...or shall I say, friend? Regards.
