  • 90% of the American people are stupid, zombified sheeple who are not capable of critical or independant thinking. All they do is believe everything they hear/see on tv. These people deserve everything they get.

  • to jp5466: I am an American that has never bought into the "Debt concept". I learned from my late father who survived the Great depression of the 1930s. He pounded into my head to live below your means & save every cent because you just don't know what is coming down the road. I have never owned a new car, never used an atm machine, use credit cards rarely.....I guess I am an oddball by todays standards

  • here's a true fact, my landlord is helping a realtor to harbor aliens from another country!

  • @dovad16 How big is your home, how come you just paid $25K? Are you a contractor. I am asking because I need to build a home, but I am scare to do it so. I will appreciate all your help and tips. Thank you :)

  • @inkey2 that is good but people like you are rarely exist here

  • Inkey2, your Dad was/is a smart man.

FYI... I am American. Born and raised.

Same here, I'm 44 and never owned a new car and have never had any credit card debt.

I recently quit my corporate job because I couldn't stand the rat-race anymore, but I'm not worried... I have years of savings to get me through.

People who live at or beyond their means are incredibly foolish.

  • What is the dating of those interview?

  • I wonder if this Burnett had plastic surgery...?

  • Altogether too many people pay altogether too much for their houses. My house cost $25k to build, but my son said it would sell for 425k in Los Angeles. When I see a house I consider the actual cost of construction in appraising its worth.
