Was this rescue done around where your Seymoor Tower is?
I know the tide goes out miles there.

Yes, it was about Half a mile further out past seymour tower. We often go down with a tractor and trailer ourselves low water fishing on the very low tides and park at the foot of the tower,then walk out about another mile. You have to be careful driving back because once the tide turns you get soft patches where it was hard on the way down!! There have been alot of people cut off by the tide down there as the sea comes in so fast and several have been drowned in the past.
