Great videos man, this is a beautiful lifestyle, and the dogs are so cool. The night time thing was pretty wild. Any suggestions where I might find info. on types of hardwood truffles in the mid west? I suspect there are loads of truffles in my area, just need to determine if any are edible. Keep bringn those great vids man. Peace.

@Earthwalker40, wish I had good news to give you on finding truffles in the Midwest, but unfortunately, I don't believe they grow in your neck of the woods-Only the Pacific Northwest contains native truffles that can be harvested in marketable quantity. Though, the Southeast US has a 'pecan' truffle and Texas has a 'desert' truffle, but they are only found in small quantities. Train your dog to find morels instead!
