the final movement-Vivace-from Sergei Prokofiev Sonata No. 2 Op. 14 in D Minor, played as an encore at the May 14, 2009 recital...Miami International Piano Festival
Most entertaining. Brings out the sardonic wit, and the slapstick "wrong" note in the development>recap is one of the best ever. Even if it all goes off the rails in the final run down, this is one of the best ways to do this piece.
brilliant performance technically! thought that your dotted eights were a bit sharp/short. beautiful slow section and I like how you ended the piece with so much energy .... do you think that the last chords should "run off the end of the page" or retard to sound more like a finale? i'm learning this piece and this is the best performanc i've seen yet. thanks!
O O Look at his fingers GO! Omg! Love it!
