I was on my way to work when i ran into these guys. They were pretty nice and had alot of extra power on there train. The main feature of this train is the old CNW transfer caboose. The conductor said this train runs twice a week up to Palatine and back down to the UP "NEW" line stopping at various factory spurs on the way. Today they only had a printing (Boxcar) and garbage company (Tank car loaded with septic waste) to service in Palatine, and a lumber distributer (Empty center beam) to service at Arlington Heights. P.S. Sorry about the video quality, like i said i was on my way to work and only had a cheap point and shoot digital.

Sweet. UP freights are hard to find on that line amongst all the Metras.

Yep, Locals are even harder.
There are a couple of daily freights that i know of (My mom works at the Harris Bank in Palatine right by the tracks and she has helped me document most of them) but i had yet to see a local, I found this guy by accident.
