on the east coast when the face is over 6 feet there is no back of the wave because its so heavy

lol you must be blind, those are 2-3 by huntington beach standards

measuring waves in Hawaii is different than the mainland- height is measured from the back of the wave- so face height is doubled, some say triple.

i agree it is a great vid, but none of those waves were over 3 ft. depends on where your from i guess. In australia most people measure size of waves from the back of the waves, so three foot from the back is about 6 foot face.
