Digimon and Pokemon doesn't have anything related. Their premises are different. Just the basic fundamental idea about it was slightly and coincidentally the same. Well, they're from Japan though. That is the significant thing about them. No need to get a fight about it, doesn't worth a time.

Pokemon is most popluar and Digimon is Just a remake of pokemon you see pokemon was made first THEN Digimon was made and both ending with "mon" you can tell which is sad really because all the people that made pokemon spent a lot of time on it and people just copied and made it diffrent also pokemon like pikachu says pika or pi and Digimon talk like people its not right so im WELL WITH pokemon!!!
