Thank you Ben and Brad for this design. It worked quite well and for only 18 bucks! With continued practice, I am sure that I can minimize the shake with the steadicam even more.

  • it is still not amazing...

  • he must like his garage, the world is your oyster son,go venture

  • @headcamguycom how heavy is the stabaliser without he camera on. i made one but am having troble geting the right weight to make it stable

  • not that steady.. very bad results

  • What size rods did you use and do the threaded steel rods go all the way up the pvc pipe or is most of the weight at the bottom half of the pvc pipe legs?

  • It seems that there's not enough room for your right hand when you hold the rig.

Would quality change if there was more room for your hand?....directly under the camera plate.

    Thanks

  • excellent result! im glad to see you improved on the design slightly. props to the ingenuity. the footage looks very good! try using a really loose easy grip on the steadicam. Let all the jitter get absorbed in your wrist, arm and shoulder it will help a lot. Love the camera rig
