@Lexicologist71 Since when? Both Bushes have lifted all sanctions against China. So Clinton could sell no secrets, as there were no secrets anymore left. Actually Clinton tried to establish an embargo list for mitilary secrets, which Bush jr. then lifted. So what? Who was selling sectrerts?
Clinton newer sold any secrets to Chinese. He had all the qualities of republican president, he even gave tax cuts. Yet he was target of republican party witch hunt. Probably because he "stole" issues of republican party.
We must, no doubt, remember the Iran-Contra Affair as among the negative events of the Reagan Presidency, but we must also not forget the good things Ronald Reagan did: Reaganomics (far better than Obamanomics, in my opinion), talks with Gorbachev and the USSR (I still like Gorbachev far more than Reagan), appropriate response to Libya, e.t.c. Do not take it that I'm saying this from a Republican angle...I personally dislike both parties. Nonetheless, all Presidents make mistakes...
yes he had some "positives" in his presidencys but does that really compensate for the 1000s killed by the central american death squads, I doubt many Nicaraguans think so
@stuckinsidethewall Yes, no doubt...but we can say the same thing about most any leader in any country...they're all, on some level, connected to violence, whether or not they directly support it.
