Alan Webbs legit high school record is like 3:58 or 59. His time in the pre classic isn't used for national records because it's not a real hs meet. If German ran with real competition he would've been under 4 easily.

@darkwalrus77 True. I guess I just find his high school races more interesting than Alan's, since he didn't have anyone to pace him; he just had to go out there and run on his own. And a show of that kind of talent this early on is definitely promising....
