Here's a fun cricket pattern to tie. It uses the River Road Creations foam cutters.

  • Did you make the curved wire tool you used when you first started to make the extended body and/or is that available commercially? On average, how many foam bodies can you cut before the cutters get dull? I like tying with foam so thank you for posting an awesome cricket pattern.

  • @frugalflyfisherman Those are Renzetti ext body pins. But you could probably just get buy with a thicker paper clip if you wanted. I haven't dulled the cutters to any point where they are dull. I'm probably running 200 bodies on a couple of them...

  • Where can you buy superglue that has a reusable applicator?

  • @docandry77 I get it at Walmart. They don't always have it, so when they do, I buy several bottles. Love it.

  • @frycdf Thanks for the info on the Renzetti ext body pins. Great idea on using the paper clip, I'll give that a try. Also thought I might make a jig and try bending them that way. I'm going to order some cutters soon. Thanks for the info on those. Tip High and Line Tight!!!

  • That's a good cricket pattern
