I have no qualms that Dr. Phil chose this topic at this time of the year because he was told to do a hit piece on those that are "waking up" to the lies that have been perpetrated upon us ALL, both in the secular and religious realms (which actually are still tied together and cannot be separated if one is honest). Now, this young lady seems very nice, but let's be honest, she is not the most well-spoken person that he could have had on there. Many of us could have defended Yahshua better!

@willhahn actually the show was about things being normal. my segment was last and the two people before me had nothing to do with the holidays. I doubt he was told to have me on due to the fact that people are waking up...and this show was very far from a "hit piece"...lol, but i am glad i got a chance to get the message out...being not well spoken and al...lol, i am glad people were at least able to understand the point...thanks for watching!

I'm not even religious but she's right. Christmas is pagan and having a tree is a weird thing if you really think about it, like why does everyone have a tree in their house? I don't celebrate Christmas or any other 'holy'days. Dr Phil is wrong on this one, people shouldn't mindlessly adhere to some social practice just because lots of people think it's ok

What is sad is that too much wisdom is dangerous Dr. Phil being a prime example excerzising carnal knowledge to justify the reason why the "world" chooses to stay in bondage I love when ppl give me the awkward silent treatment when I tell them I don't celebrate these holidays...but I also luv how they give their ear when I inform them that the WORD speaks against it....there were several scriptures tht cld have been quoted to back up her beliefs...

@37Moons I still celebrate Thanksgiving - the only regular "holiday" that I do celebrate - only because it became a recognized holiday after Lincoln's Proclamation during the Civil War and had to do with the reconciliation of our nation. Now, I am not ignorant as to what happened to the Native Americans and the native tribes of both North and south America when the Europeans came here to settle. I don't acknowledge Columbus Day, as that is definitely a misplaced holiday if there ever was one.

@FairyOfLyricSong2 WHO cares...ummm, that would be GOD the creator of the universe. Not trying to be mean to you, but please just stop and think about it. If you don't consider yourself a Christian, then never mind and disregard what I am saying. But if you profess Jesus Christ, know that He and God said several times in the Bible to be in the world, but NOT of it; to not go after the ways of the heathen (i.e., don't follow the pagan customs of those that live around you).

@princessjudah Very well said. People will come up with excuses to justify what they do, even when they KNOW it is wrong. I was a member of the Worldwide Church of God for several years, and even before that since the time that I was a young boy and able to READ I became aware that what is being taught by "Christianity" is FALSE doctrine. But no wonder, as Jesus himself prophesied that this would happen. Keep to your faith & discernment and know that you aren't alone!
