After watching some youtube videos about building cement counters, I decided to give it a try with some adjustments to the process. This is part I of several, since I build multiple counters and keep improving the process. First step is to build the mold.

  • Greta video do you have more video of when you finished the project. I would like to see the edge of your Counter top and the final product thanks

  • @polymexdf69 I put several videos about the counters. In the end, they were coated with resin and over all they turned out great. I had trouble with air bubbles in the resin.

  • i LOLed when i saw the hot glue gun used to secure the rebar. guess it gets the job done. nice work

  • @fakiir It didn't work as well as I wanted. I changed my way in some of the other videos about the counters.

  • this was the first time I ever made the concrete counters, they turned out great! Now that I finished I have learned of bullnose foam edging foam. I will use that the next time, as the edging took the most time. the hot glue wasn't such a great idea, but worked. On the other counters I switched to just bending the rebar corner pieces and wiring them together in the same plane.
