Cinderella: From Slave to Princess Chapter 1 Part 2 (Mature)

This part is shorter than the first because i had it all as one chapter but it was too long to fit into the description. Sorry for the wait between the two chapters. I am planning on writing a new story but i just started my sophomore year of high school and am taking 2 honors classes and one college level class, i literally have a bruise on my arm from carrying my books. So I don't know when that story will be up, but be on the lookout.

Joe and Frankie were getting off the elevator after their ice cream run. While walking to their room, they noticed someone crying in the distance, but the closer they got to their room, the sound grew louder. When they rounded the corner and saw a girl sitting on the floor crying, they picked up their pace. Walking up to the girl Frankie placed a hand on her shoulder. "What's wrong?" he whispered trying to sound comforting. Joe was observing the girl and when he noticed the bump in her dress and her hand rubbing circles on it, he began to panic.

"Frankie, go get mom," Joe commanded, walking towards the unknown girl.

"Why do I have to get her, why don't you," Frankie whined.

"Franklin Nathaniel," Joe said his tone now becoming firm.

"Fine," Frankie muttered with a humph as walked away.

Not knowing what to do, Joe knelt in front of her . "Hey, are you alright?" he asked, placing a hand her knee. Not being able to talk through the tears, all Jess was able to do was shake her head, no.
