  • Thanks for the great tutorials. Can you show us how to setup an environment for multi-instrument, such as PSR-S910? I would like to control PSR-S910's voices and settings, effects etc in Logic. Thank you once again.

  • @IslandMusicNZ

Hey! I definitely think that I can go over how to set that up. Thank you very much for the recommendation! And I think that will be going in the next video =)

  • Hey, Jonathan!

Thank you so much for these videos! I've just finished all of them and I am ready to get started recording! I can't wait to see what else is up your sleeve! I'm looking forward to the next video! I'm glad I don't have to read the entire Instruction Manual that I have printed out. I'd say that I would use it for reference, but I don't think I will need to now!

    Take care and thanks again!

It is great to hear that these helped you out so much! I am always so happy when they connect with people and give them the opportunity to learn something new. I am glad that you can now skip the boring steps of reading the manual and go straight to the fun! I hope that all is well and thank you very much for the comment! More videos will be coming up soon indeed! Any suggestions for what to go over in part 8? Thanks again!

  • Excellent tutorial, Jonathan! Very helpful as always. This is going right into my favorites. Your videos on Logic Express are the best on Youtube. I'm very happy that you're open to questions and ideas for future videos.

Two big thumbs up! Can't wait till the next one.

Maybe you can cover ultra beat?

    Thanks,

    Tim

  • Jonathan thank you so much for your videos about Logic Express 9! I'm a guitarist that loves to write and record, but I'm not interested in becoming a tech head. I appreciate Apple and their user friendly software and I really appreciate you breaking it down and simplifying it even more for us. I have GarageBand and LE9 and love how they work together simply. I'm very much looking forward to more of your LE9 videos. Also, you're a great player! Thanks again for your work.

  • yeah dude, hip hop

  • Hey great tutorials, really helpful to begin with Logic Express, I just have a doubt that I haven't figured out. How do you get the drum machine keyboard like in GarageBand?

    Cheers

  • Hi Jonathan - love your tutorials, thanks so much. I have a quick question that is relatively simple but I've been unable to find an answer yet and wondered if you could help. In reaper and digital performer you can mix two tracks by dragging one track on top of the other one - this mixes them into one for the purposes of applying EQ's etc. Is there any way of doing this is logic that you know without hang to run them through a bus? Thankyou

  • I've had Logic for six months, looked at a whole host of videos and tutorials -- yours are streets ahead -- terrific stuff. Tom

  • who can i import sound from garageband to logic? thanks!!

  • Great videos....learned so much! Read the logic users manual for hours and didnt learn anything but your videos are a great help! Tell me did you learn all of this from experimenting with the software or did you read up on it? thanks!

  • I set up everything to bus four tracks on to an aux channel. I get no level/signal on the aux channel? What am I doing wrong?

  • @soyelturcowei Nevermind, i figured it out, didnt get any sleep at all but managed to do it, thanks anyways! great videos

  • Hey Jonathan, I watched all your tutorials tonight, I find them pretty useful cause i just bought the software today, I've been using Garage band for a couple of years now and finally found myself very limited using it. I used Logic E9 to record and stuff and its good, but im lost when it comes to using my old Garageband sessions on it, can you show me how to adapt everything to LogicE9 again? My midi tracks are kind of lost, and the whole mixing got harder. Thanks! Your videos are great!
