One of the few rare classic machines left for duckpins as 99% of the duckpin houses use the Sherman duckpin machine. Thanks to Frank the mechanic at Holiday Lanes in Manchester, CT for allowing us to shoot these videos.
It is very similar but much smaller than the candlepin turn table as you can see in the video of my 21st bowling center. The turn table is only about a third of the size. They use 22 pins in each machine. As you can see the pins like to pile in the back of the machine and with 25 pins vs. 22 it causes more james and delays. A very neat little machine though. I left the owners of the center my number as I wouldn't mind adding this center to my collection of bowling centers that I own.
