Golgotha/Calvary proof at the Garden Tomb

There are two places that are hotly debated as to which is the actual place where Jesus was killed on the cross. I believe without a doubt that this is the place and it is not at the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. This video is the proof from the English guide at the Garden Tomb in Jerusalem. The English man asked that we not take photos or videos of him, so I just listened and aimed at Golgotha.

Golgotha or "the place of the skull " is called so becuase of the skull like appearence of the cliff face. Muslims have defaced the face considerably over recent year because of it s connection to the crucifixion site of our Lord. The actual cliff is part of Mt Moriah but was split in two by the Babylonians in 597BC in their attempt to create a siege wall around Jerusalem. Golgotha (MT Moriah) is also the site where God commanded Abraham to sacrifice his son Issac.

Golgatha is called the place of the skull, not because of the rock face, or because it was a graveyard. Its because when David killed Goliath, he put his chain mail and weapons in the ark, but it says he took the head to jerusalem. The word Golgatha has no root in any language, It means Gol(Goliath)Goth(Gath)A(of) Goliath of Gath. The place where David buried the skull. He buried it right under where Jesus was to be crucified. He wrote psalm 22, he had to know. Very cool I think.
