How popular are mounted games? Is it as big as barrel raceing and poll bending in the US?

Barrel racing is incredibly dynamic and physically demanding for the horses and the riders.
Mounted games uses ponies - the riders mount and dismount at speed during the competition. It tends to be a sport for the under 30s. In UK, it's the Pony Club that regulates the sport.
