@1Makhario Thank you so much for your advice. It has been sitting on my heart about this issue. I am a babe in christ just over a year and half now. When I spoke to someone from the church about speaking in tongues they said that we don't do such a thing. Anyway, i knew in my spirit they were wrong. Thank you for confirmation.

I attend a non denominational church that do not believe in playing music. They also do not believe in speaking in touges. they believe that the church should sing hymes only because it says in the bible to sing only??

@ltucker1765: Well my friend, to that I say run. What they are teaching people is not the TRUTH. Find another church that does believe in singing and playing instruments. The Bible clearly states that "King David" played the "Harp." (1 Samuel 15:23) It also declares that others played instruments when giving Praise to GOD.
They are teaching bondage and not the TRUTH of GOD's WORD. (1 Samuel 18:6)
