This is the first thing new Macintosh Performa 6360 and 6400 owners would see when starting their computers for the first time. These were the most powerful Performas ever, with a/v inputs, TV tuner cards, video editing capabilities, and early ATI 3D accelerators. They were also the last Performas. Circa 1996.
I'll be seeing this soon when I pick one up and install the original software (the disks that came with it.

@ZoomBFX Um, it would have only played one time and never again thereafter.

Descent was beastly for a game. I was just ten years old when that game sucked me in.

My first computer was a Performa 6360. I Haven't seen this little video since 1997. We sold the thing in December of 1997 if I remember.
Now I almost wish I had it back to see how much I could upgrade the thing, or just to play around with it. And yes, I remember Descent too. I ripped all the music tracks from it and still have it on my MP3 player. The soundtrack rocks even today.

I have a complete 6400 with original manuals/docs/software, etc. I never saw this. Where is it? When exactly does it happen?
