People think that "leaves on the line" is just an excuse that rail companies make up to try and justify being late. Here however is actual proof that it is a real problem and isn't just something they made up!

Now that's what I call wheel slip, I was on the railway Saturday and nearly ground to a halt then! and it was a dry day!

Good demonstration of when all lineside vegetation was cut back behind the boundary fence when steam ruled.
Driver did well to avoid needing assistance.
